Nova Scotia Day at Grand Parade
The Halifax 2011 Canada Games Host Society celebrated Nova Scotia Day today, Feb. 16, at Grand Parade in Halifax to cap five days of free public events and activities to mark the One Year Countdown Celebration to the Games.

 

 

Volunteer recruitment kick-off
The Halifax 2011 Canada Games officially launched its volunteer recruitment campaign on February 10th at the World Trade & Convention Centre. The Host Society is looking for 5,000 people to share in the excitement of delivering the 2011 Games.

 

 

One Year Countdown Celebration
The countdown to the Halifax 2011 Canada Games is cause for celebration. And celebrate we did! Our One Year Countdown Celebration, from Feb. 11-16, 2010, reached thousands of Nova Scotians who caught the spirit of the Games by engaging in sport and physical activity.
