What do Deidra Dionne and Richard Dalton have in common? Both of them are former Canada Games athletes who went on to compete in the Olympics. On average, Canada Games alumni represent over 40% of Canada’s Olympic team members, and around 60% of the medalists. Dionne won bronze in the 2002 Olympics in freestyle aerial ski and Dalton is an accomplished sprint canoer who competed in the 2004 Olympics.
