In February 2011, thousands of our country's best and brightest will set their sights on Nova Scotia as Halifax hosts the Canada Winter Games. More than 3,600 athletes, coaches and managers from across Canada, 400 media, 700 VIPs, 500 officials and thousands of visitors will head east for the two-week event. With the understanding that great things don’t just happen, this is your chance to step up to the plate with goodwill, hard work and the desire to be part of something truly special. The question is, what will YOU bring?
More than 5,000 volunteers will be needed from February 11-27, 2011 to form the backbone of the Games. From IT Services, to Mascot Support to Athlete Village Operations – there’s something for everyone and we’re recruiting now.
