The Halifax 2011 Canada Games Host Society is seeking PROPOSALS for Opening and Closing Ceremonies Producer Services to provide:
- Successful planning and delivery of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies
- Successful development of program elements to celebrate the spirit and values of the 2011 Games, celebrate youth, excellence and the athletes as well as showcase the many facets of Nova Scotian culture.
- A collaboratively produced Opening and Closing Ceremonies with the Opening & Closing Ceremonies Committee.
- A ceremonies framework following established protocol and policies and required ceremony elements
- Administration and financial process that routinely report work within an established budget, the managing of assets, volunteers, timelines and deliverables for the productions.

Sealed Form of Proposal Opening and Closing Ceremonies Producer Services will be received by the Halifax 2011 Canada Games Host Society, Barrington Tower, Suite 600, 1894 Barrington St., Halifax, NS B3J 2A8 or P.O. Box 1749 Halifax, NS B3J 3A5 until 13:00, Monday, March 29, 2010. Please note courier packages cannot be sent to post office box.

The Halifax 2011 Canada Games Host Society reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award the contract in its entirety, or in part, whichever in its opinion best serves the interest of the 2011 Canada Winter Games.
