Volunteer Profile

Mike Musial
Senior Volunteer Project Manager

Why I wanted to get involved in the Games:
I love sport - both for the competition (as a participant and observer) and for what it does for young people's character, physical development and sense of teamwork.  As a Project Manager, I am in the leadership business and the Canada Games is a wonderful opportunity for people to gather together to help put on a world class event.

What I'm looking forward to most about the Games:
I want to see the successful marriage of Sport and Project Management at a major event.  I also want to see the kids having fun and all our visitors enjoying their visit to Nova Scotia.

What I do when I'm not volunteering for the Games:
I am a Project Manager, working as an independent consultant for customers around Atlantic Canada.  I also train and mentor other PMs.  I love to read, almost anything, travel when I get a chance, and volunteer with the Sackville Waves Aquatic Team.
